Invitrx Amniotic Fluid

Invitra Amniotic Fluid is a biological acellular product derived from the human amnion. Amniotic fluid is rich in growth factors and cytokines including growth factor (EGF), transforming growth factor alpha (TGF alpha), transforming growth factor beta-1, and insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF1).(1) Importantly, amniotic fluid contains factors related to the innate immune system including a spectrum of antimicrobials effective against bacteria, fungi, protozoa, and viruses.(2,3)

All of our donors are pre-screened through medical record review and evaluation of prenatal tests. Eligibility is confirmed through behavior risk assessment, physical assessment, donor medical history, review of blood test results, and communicable disease testing.  Invitra Amniotic Fluid is a Human Cellular and Tissue-Based Products (HCT/P) as defined by US FDA 21 C.F.R. § 1271.
